David has written for countless publications since graduating from Bristol University’s English Department with his very own pen.

From magazine and newspaper articles to blogs and journals, David’s writing is incisive, thoughtful and playful.

He has years of experience in audience-focussed copywriting, from broadcast scripts to adverts and marketing material; he has a special skill in communicating messages succinctly, with flare and imagination.

And his comedy stuff is sometimes funny, too…

David’s writing has appeared in the Radio Times and Great British Life magazines and he has co-authored and contributed to numerous blogs on heritage, broadcasting and comedy themes. He is a regular contributor to Coach & Bus Week, the industry’s leading magazine.

He is currently Editor of a magazine in the charity sector, of which he has produced more than thirty editions to date.

David has also prepared copy for marketing materials, press releases, bids and proposals for organisations large and small, and for a variety of audiences.

David brings more than two decades’ experience in writing for broadcast media, including scripts for narrations, commercials, corporate videos, comedy sketches and, of course, for radio and television programmes.

(Actually, three decades… David started off, when he was still at school, writing material for Wake Up to Wogan on BBC Radio 2. His various characters had a daily slot for many years…)
